Investment Operations Certificate - IOC™
The Investment Operations Certificate (IOC™) was formerly known as the Investment Administration Qualification or IAQ™. It is a global practitioner led programme for administrationn and operations staff working in both wholesale and retail firms. It equips you with an overview of the financial services industry and its regulation as well as providing a detailed picture of your particular industry sector.
It incorporates a range of exams that represent different technical activities within the industry and is taken by over 10,000 canidates a year.
Investment Operations Certificate - IOC™ Course Introduction
The IOC qualification comprises three units. The units you select depend upon your individual circumstances. If you are in an overseeing role (as defined by the FSA) and working for a firm which is authorised and regulated by the FSA, you are required to complete the following three units:

If you are working for a firm (particularly those based internationally) that is not authorised and regulated by the FSA, you may select any three units if your firm agrees.
Candidates who achieve the IOC are eligible to become Associate members of the CISI and use the designatory letters ACSI.
