Full working version of SAGE V19 with levels II and III
No prior bookkeeping knowledge is assumed at level II but candidates must have basic numerical skills.
Before commencing the study at level III you should have achieved ICB Level II Certificate in Bookkeeping or its equivalent with another awarding body
Before commencing the study at level IV you should have achieved ICB Level III Certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounting or its equivalent with another awarding body.
Some exams are sat at home and are booked by Kaplan Distance Learning. External exams are booked at Pearson VUE centres.
Qualifies candidates to carry out the role of an employed assistant bookkeeper under supervision. Leads to Affiliate member of ICB status - AfICB.
Covers basic principles of single and double entry bookkeeping and its application to business in both a manual and a computerised system.
Successful candidates will be able to:
Qualifies candidates to carry out the role of an employed or self-employed bookkeeper. Leads to Associate member of ICB status - AICB.
Covers preparation of ledger balances, control accounts and reconciliations, adjustments and preparation of final accounts for non-incorporated businesses or organisations.
Qualifies candidates to carry out the role of a self-employed bookkeeper/senior employed bookkeeper. Leads to Member of ICB status - MICB.
Covers the production of a set of accounts from incomplete records, advanced partnership accounts and the preparation and interpretation of internal management accounts for incorporated bodies.
