Customer Service Apprenticeship

The Customer Service Apprenticeship is suitable for anyone working in a customer facing role including Customer Service Advisors, Sales Advisors, secretaries, PAs, and receptionists.

On completion of the qualification your employee will receive an NVQ Certificate/Diploma. Plus a Technical Certificate in Customer Service and Key Skills Certificates.

Employer Responsibilities

As Apprenticeships are work-based training programmes, most of the training is ‘on the job’ at your premises.

To ensure that your learner develops effective skills throughout their Apprenticeship as an employer you must:

  • Provide an induction and on-the-job mentoring and training
  • Ensure you meet relevant health and safety procedures set by Kaplan
  • Pay your Apprentice’s wage according to the national minimum wage
  • Hold regular meetings with your learners throughout their assessments
  • Employ your learner for at least 30 hours per week
