AAT Apprenticeship

The AAT Apprenticeship is suitable for those starting their career in Accountancy. It takes approximately 12 months to complete each level to complete the qualification.

Successful completion of the AAT will grant the learner valuable exemptions from selected exams of ATT, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW (ACA) and CIPFA.

Bringing the classroom to your employees. Live Online follows the same study materials and schedule as the Classroom but is delivered live over the Internet.

Employer Responsibilities

As Apprenticeships are work-based training programmes, most of the training is ‘on the job’ at your premises.

To ensure that your learner develops effective skills throughout their Apprenticeship as an employer you must:

  • Provide an induction and on-the-job mentoring and training
  • Ensure you meet relevant health and safety procedures set by Kaplan
  • Pay your Apprentice’s wage according to the national minimum wage
  • Hold regular meetings with your learners throughout their assessments
  • Employ your learner for at least 30 hours per week
