Kaplan Live Online is a big hit
Kaplan recently held some focus group surveys with their CIMA Live Online students to see how they had found it, and were bowled over by the results. CIMA Live Online has proved to be a massive hit, with 100% of respondents interviewed saying that they would book another CIMA Live Online Course with Kaplan. Such was the enthusiasm for Live Online tuition that when participants were asked to rate the live lectures out of ten, every respondent scored them between 9 and 10.

When asked about why CIMA Live Online works so well, 90.3% of respondents said that CIMA Live Online had made studying their course easier. Rachel Elvidge, one of the respondents, said: “I like the lack of travel and that you can watch (lectures) again.” Another student, Alexa Anderson, said: “You might be feeling too tired or unwell to travel, but still be able to sit in your pyjamas with a cup of tea and do the class.”

How has Live Online helped you to progress successfully?
It has taken me a year to complete my strategic level and my top cima which I do not believe I would have been able to do that quickly if it hadn’t had been for Live Online and the study support provided by the tutors and support staff.
No matter how big or small your problem, you can always go to someone which is fab. They will get an answer to you in a timely manner - so you're never left for days being confused about an issue.
What are your thoughts on the materials that you received during the course?
I couldn't have wished for the materials to be any better, you got everything and more that you needed.

What attracted you to study CIMA at Kaplan using Live Online?
CIMA Live Online has given me the opportunity to continue with CIMA without being committed at the weekends. I used to spend a lot of time going to college to study CIMA, so studying from home was ideal. Having studied using traditional distance learning before, I prefer CIMA Live Online as you have live tutor interaction.
What do you like about CIMA Live Online?
It gives me a lot of freedom - I didn't have to attend each session in real time if I was late home from work as the recordings are sent out after each session. This really helped as I could review and rewind the lectures as many times as I needed to revise the more difficult areas.
