International Student life
We want you to enjoy your time studying with us, both inside and outside the classroom. At the London International School of Business and Law we make every effort to help students to settle into life in the UK, and to make the most of their time studying with us.
A friendly environment
- Students from more than 70 countries
- Specialist student services for international students
- Advice and guidance both before and after you arrive
Student Services
Our student services staff can help you with anything from questions related to your course, to guidance on issues about housing, banking, travel and student discounts. Whatever the problem, our advisors will be happy to help in any way that they can.
Student Accommodation
Whilst you’re studying with us we’ll be your home away from home, so it’s important that you find a place to live where you feel comfortable.
We can help you to find accommodation by providing advice and contacts, plus many students advertise for housemates using our notice boards and message boards. We even offer a small amount of rooms at the London International School of Business and Law owned accommodation, which makes finding a room even easier!
Social activities
Throughout each term we arrange a social calendar of activities for you so that you get the chance to meet students from different classes or from different courses. These activities range from trips to the theatre, to visits to local tourist attractions and are designed to help you feel at home as quickly as possible.
Library services
With more than 10,000 volumes, our library resources provide you with a huge range of literature, whether you’re looking for academic enlightenment or simply something to read on the bus. While print resources are predominantly based at our Greenwich campus, our full-range of resources include journals, newspapers, and numerous law and business online databases accessible from multiple campuses. You will also have access to online material from your validating university.

IT facilities
We constantly strive to make sure that you have all the tools to make the most of your studies, and as a result we offer free wireless internet for students at all of our centres, plus we provide computer labs for students so that they can access the internet whenever they like. Whether you are keeping in touch with friends and family back home, checking your emails or doing research for a project, you’ll be able to keep upto- date with our support.
Pastoral Care
Our pastoral care officers are on hand to provide support and guidance to any students that need help or support. This service is strictly confidential and can help if you want support in dealing with personal issues, disciplinary matters, academic guidance or specialist counselling.
Faith and worship
At the London International School of Business and Law we respect all faiths, and provide facilities for worship, including a prayer room that is available every day. Our city centre locations also mean that wherever you study you will never by far away from a church, mosque or temple.
Student Council
Our Student Council is run by the students, for the students and is designed to give students a voice in the college, and to give you all opportunities to arrange activities and to get to know each other better. Each year elections are held to choose representatives and a calendar of events are chosen. Being a representative is a great way to meet new people, and to add value to your CV.
In the past our Student Council has arranged:
- Fashion shows
- Academic support sessions
- Summer and winter balls
- Trips to tourist attractions
- Theatre shows
It is a great way to get involved with life in the college and we encourage every student to take part as much as possible.
