Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ)

The Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ) is a ground-breaking qualification offered by the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment (CISI) – the professional qualification and membership body for the securities and investment industry.

The IFQ was initiated in 2006 by the Central Bank of Lebanon (Banque du Liban) and was developed by an Advisory Council for Islamic Finance (ACIF), a group of technical experts convened by the CISI in collaboration with Lebanese Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (ESA)

Why Pursue the IFQ?

The Sharia finance and banking industry is one of the fastest growing markets in the world. It is estimated to be worth more than $1 trillion in the next 2 years and reflects the growing wealth and influence of the Islamic world and the growth of the Islamic finance industry beyond Muslim countries.

Today an increasing number of Muslims are looking for investment opportunities that comply with the principles of their faith and leading analysts predict that this market will grow by around 15% per year over the next decade. It is estimated that the market will account for 60% of the savings of the World's 1.2 billion Muslims.

Our IFQ Tuition Courses

Kaplan Financial provides evening and weekday course options to suit the needs of part-time and full- time delegates.

Both course options cover all areas of the IFQ syllabus with additional detailed review of the more challenging concepts. This is backed up with question practice and debriefs to ensure delegates are comfortable in applying their knowledge to exam standard questions.

In particular the 2 weekday course has been specifically designed for students for whom English is their second language. The syllabus will be taught at a slower pace and more question practice is undertaken during class.

Our expert tutors will ensure that delegates will feel prepared for the style, format and challenges that await them on the day of the exam.
