About ACA (ICAEW)

Entry requirements

2 A-levels (UCAS Tariff score 220) and 3 GCSE’s (incl. Maths and English). Alternatively AAT qualified. For more details on pathways into the ACA please visit the ICAEW website.

Modules and structure

Professional stage is split into Knowledge and Application components, each consisting of 6 papers.

Advanced stage is split into Technical Integration (TI) consisting of 2 papers, and the Advanced Case Study (ACS).

Exemptions

Exemptions are available for Graduates, AAT qualified students, and those holding some other professional accountancy qualifications.
