Investment Management Certificate (IMC) syllabus change
The IMC syllabus changed on the 1st September 2010 to take into account the revised qualification standards for those working in an investment management retail capacity in the UK. Both units will step up from QCA Level 3 to Level 4. All classroom course delivered by Kaplan from the 1st of September in Edinburgh and London will teach towards the new Level 4 syllabus.
The structure of the qualification remained the same (i.e. Units 1 and 2) but you are no longer able to sit the combined Units together as a single exam. The broad content of the syllabus should be similar, but there are some new areas and some sections tested in greater depth.
