Kaplan Financial IMC Study Packages

Kaplan Financial provides two IMC study packages tailored towards different learning styles and budgets:

Materials and Online

A flexible home study option that allows delegates to study at their own pace and at times that are convenient. It is the ideal option if time, work or financial constraints prevent delegates from attending the course element.

Materials, Online and Course

This option includes all of the materials and online elements plus an exam focussed classroom course. Our courses cover all areas of the IMC syllabus with additional detailed review of the more challenging concepts. This is backed up with question practice and debriefs to ensure delegates are comfortable in applying their knowledge to exam standard questions.

IMC Workbook

The IMC workbook has been written by our in-house team of tutors and market experts. These materials are reviewed and updated on a systemic basis and are built around the Learning Outcome Statements (LOS) enabling delegates to identify the key facts they will need to know to pass the exams.

IMC Practice Exam Book

Practice, practice and practice is key to success in any exam. This is why we have spent so much time developing our IMC Practice Exam Book.

Every question is cross checked with the study materials and compiled to reflect the standard and type of question that you will receive in the live exams.  A full explanation of every correct answer is given.
IMC Classroom Slide Pack

For delegates studying the Materials Online and Course option, delegates will be provided with a copy of the IMC course slides on day one of the classroom teaching element, to help them follow the key points that are addressed in class.

Each pack provides them with a copy of the PowerPoint presentation including diagrams, and space for them to make their own notes. These slide packs are available online with tutor notes.
IMC Calculator In the study package is a free exam approved calculator Casio FX-83 ES scientific calculator.

 

Live Online
IMC Online Study Guide In order to help delegates plan ahead, we provide an online study guide to allow them to utilise their time effectively.

We recognise that delegates have varying levels of experience of taking exams and different learning style so we provide examples of ways to study and a ten point plan of how the resources could be used to their best advantage.
IMC E-Lessons For each IMC unit delegates will have access to a suite of eLearning modules. These address key areas where we feel extra help will be of value to your delegates and assist them to understand, reinforce or recall vital information. The modules will allow delegates to study at their own pace, get feedback on their progress and repeat the module.

IMC Online Assessments Delegates have access to a variety of IMC Online Assessments set from an extensive bank of questions. An explanation is given for each answer enabling delegates to identify areas of potential weakness and where best to direct their revision.
IMC Mock Exam Our online IMC mock exams help delegates practice answering a set number of questions in a time constrained environment, topic weighted to mirror the real exam.
Custom IMC Tests As part of this system delegates can also build personalised IMC exams based on difficulty, length, and topic of their choice.
Test Summary Delegates are able to view a summary of their performance for every test taken.
Test Review This function allows delegates to review their answers to every question and guide them to where the information can be found within the IMC workbooks.
Reports Delegates are able to compare their performance against peers across the different areas of the syllabus. This will help them identify their areas of weakness and provide a guide as to where best to direct revision. This test results are visible to us and a member of our tutor faculty will contact delegates who are struggling and mentor accordingly.
Test History Delegates can view their history of all completed tests including information on when they took them, their scores and the questions they got right or wrong.
Cumulative Report Delegates can view their cumulative scores for all tests taken.
Comparative Report Delegates can compare their test results to other members of their Study for Success class. This feature also allows trainers from Kaplan to monitor to progress

Classroom Tuition For those studying the Materials Online and Course option, our tuition courses cover all areas of the IMC syllabus with additional detailed review of the more challenging concepts. This is backed up with question practice and debriefs to ensure delegates are comfortable in applying their knowledge to exam standard questions.

Our expert tutors will ensure that delegates will feel prepared for the style, format and challenges that await them on the day of the exam.
Tutor Access Kaplan Financial understands the importance of providing delegates with support in and outside of the classroom teaching element. This is why we will offer a mentor facility where delegates can contact the tutor faculty throughout their studies.

Our IMC tutors are available outside of classroom hours to provide delegates with any additional academic help that they may need. This will help identify at an early stage any delegate who is struggling and enable us to give them the support they require to keep on track for exam success.
