About ATT
The ATT qualification enables students to gain knowledge in a specialist area of tax without necessarily having to study for the full CTA qualification. Each Certificate of Competency is valid for 3 years and can be renewed upon evidence of CPD.
In order to achieve the ATT qualification, students must pass four certificates – three core subjects and one non-core subject of choice. Find out more about the ATT modules and structure now.
Registration
You must register with the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) prior to becoming an ATT student with Kaplan. You must be registered with the Association for at least six months before sitting your first examination.
Remember - registration with the ATT is entirely separate from your enrolment with us, and the ATT do not late applications.
To register with the ATT, visit the website at www.att.org.uk, email or call the association on 0844 251 0830.
Exemptions
An AAT full member who has passed the AAT Unit 18 Preparing Business Taxation Computations will be awarded, on application and payment of the fee, a credit for Business Taxation and Accounting Principles.
The credit will take effect from the May 2009 examination session and will be valid for three years from the first sitting of another ATT certificate paper. There are no other credits offered for ATT students.
