Exam focused support
Study Text
The CIMA Official Study Text contains the theory you need to learn to pass. It covers all areas of the syllabus and includes practical materials that put the theory into context. Each chapter begins with learning objectives mapped to the exam and contains worked examples and questions so you can test your learning. Exam standard questions are included to ensure you are fully prepared. Find out more about our CIMA study materials.
Study notes
Used by tutors in the classroom and online sessions, the study notes are a condensed guide to each subject, filled with illustrations and examples on each topic.
Marked assessments
Each course includes and interim and final assessment. Once you have completed these practice questions, as scheduled by your tutor, you can submit them for marking and receive personal feedback from our team of expert markers.
Marked mock exams
At the end of your revision course, all students should complete a full mock exam under timed exam conditions and submit it for marking. The mock exams are written each sitting by our Content Specialist with a forthcoming exam in mind. You will receive your marked mock exam back with individual feedback to give you last minute guidance so that you are prepared for your exam.
Question Based Days
Question Based Days (QBDs) provide a unique opportunity to test your knowledge on everything you have learnt so far. Using specially written questions, QBDs usually take place a week or two before the exams. In order to improve your exam technique and confidence, you practice exam standard questions and receive marks and personal feedback throughout the day from expert Kaplan markers.
Kaplan Masterclass
Kaplan Masterclasses compliment the main CIMA course and are the perfect opportunity to develop new exam technique skills and sharpen up existing ones. Read more about our Kaplan Masterclasses.
Kaplan EN-gage
This is our online, interactive learning resources portal. Varying depending on the CIMA paper, online resources may include: online text book, online tests (with results answers and comparison reporting), video guides, video debriefs of questions, assessments, online exam kit and exam tips. Revision notes provide an exam-focused recap of your course helping you to fully prepare for your exams.
Exam Practice Kit
The CIMA Official Exam Practice Kits are the only materials that contain the official CIMA examiners’ answers to recent past papers. Past CIMA questions and answers are supplemented with additional questions to ensure thorough coverage of the syllabus.
Revision Cards
The CIMA Official Revision Cards are the only printed revision aids endorsed by CIMA. They provide complete coverage of the CIMA syllabus in bite-sized chunks and will help you learn and memorise the most important areas. They are handy pocket-sized flash cards organised into packs of around 52; they're also full colour and highly visual. Revision cards focus on subject overviews, exam tips and mind maps rather than simple linear narrative. As they're slightly bigger than normal playing cards they'll be ideal for whether you're at home or on the move.

Recordings of our Live Online lectures are included in every classroom-based Part-time Tuition Course. This means that you can recap, replay and catch up on any part of your course at anytime by watching these videos online.
Because we tailor our courses to match our students' needs, we have specially adapted what we include in our CIMA Distance Learning courses and CIMA Live Online courses for those of you who prefer to study out of the classroom.
