About Bookkeeping & Computerised Accounts

We offer a range of courses dependent on the level of knowledge you require. Once you have completed a 2 day bookkeeping course you may decide to enrol on the 5 day to extend your knowledge, or to go onto a computerised accounts course.

Pre-requisites

There are no pre requisites for either of the manual bookkeeping courses, or Level 1 of the Computerised accounts. For the remaining levels of the computerised accounts you do need to have successfully completed the previous levels.

Modules and structure

Our 2 day bookkeeping course introduces the basics of recording transactions and the use of debits and credits. All Kaplan Financial centres offer this course. The 5 day course goes into more detail including topics like depreciation, bad and doubtful debts and production of a trial balance. This course is only available at certain centres.

The Distance Learning bookkeeping courses are accredited by the ICB (Institute of Chartered Bookkeepers) and include a computerised element (Level 3).
