Revision & Question Based Day

To give yourself the best chance of success of passing your ACCA exams first time and to reinforce your tuition studies, Kaplan recommends taking a Revision course and a Question Based Day (QBD). Our exam focused approach works, and we have the statistics to prove it; for the sixth consecutive sitting Kaplan students have achieved pass rates up to 25% higher than the worldwide average.*

Our revision support helped Kaplan ACCA student Donna Jenkins on her way to becoming First in World for P5 Advanced Performance Management out of 2,300 students. Donna commented:

“The revision course was worth its weight in gold, it really focussed on the type of questions likely to come up. The QBD provided practice under exam conditions giving valuable insight into my strengths and areas for improvement.“

Your next steps to ACCA exam success

Revision courses

Kaplan’s revision courses focus on question practice and exam technique ensuring you are fully prepared for the forthcoming exam. Tutors will provide a short overview after which you will be asked to work through exam standard questions. Technical elements of the question will later be debriefed to help you understand how exam technique can make the all important difference between a pass and a fail.

You will receive an Exam Kit, Pocket Notes, a Mock Exam and access to Kaplan EN-gage’s range of online revision resources.

You can choose whether to take a long or short revision study option, so you can choose which course is best for you. Both midweek and extended weekend courses take place over three to five days, depending on the syllabus content. Weekend revision is shorter, just two or three days.  Revision courses take place in April/May for the June exams and then again in October/November for the December ACCA exams.

Question Based Day (QBD)

Question Based Days (QBD) are designed to give you the best possible exam preparation.

QBD is an intensive full day course where you will complete ACCA exam standard questions under timed conditions. Your script will be marked to exam standards, and fed back to you the same day by professional Kaplan Financial markers. You will receive marks and comments on both technical content and presentation so you will immediately know your strengths and weaknesses.

The QBD is the nearest thing you can experience to exam pressures and the feedback is designed to improve both your confidence and your marks ahead of the exam. Analysis shows Kaplan students who have attended QBD tend to be more focused and achieve higher results those who don’t. In our experience it gives you the edge.

Kaplan also gives you the flexibility to take the QBD either during the week or weekend.
