The Association of Taxation Technician (ATT) is the leading professional body for those providing tax compliance services and related activities in the UK. Founded in 1989, the Association now has over 10,500 members, affiliates and registered students.

ATT Membership paves the way for a successful career in taxation services in industry, commerce, and the public sector, as well as professional practices. It also provides an entry route to membership of the Chartered Institute of Tax (CTA).

ATT exemptions granted to AAT students

If you are an AAT full member who has passed the AAT Unit 18 Preparing Business Taxation Computations you will be exempt from the Business Taxation and Accounting Principles (BTAP) paper. As a result you would only need to complete 3 papers to qualify.
