Modules and structure

The AAT qualification can be achieved by two study streams NVQ and Diploma.  The NVQ is a work based qualification and in order to achieve it you should be working in an accounts or finance related job role.

The Diploma qualification is a theory based qualification and can be achieved by non accounts related employees and anyone currently not in employment.

NVQ

The NVQ pathway is broken down into three levels:

• Foundation level
• Intermediate level
• Technician level

Diploma

The Diploma pathway is broken down into three levels:

• Certificate level
• Advanced certificate level
• Diploma level
