NEW AAT QCF Modules & Structure

On 1st July 2010 the AAT launched a NEW qualification to replace both the existing NVQ route and Diploma Pathway, click here to find out more about the Changes to the AAT Syllabus.

New students wishing to study AAT will be required to register under the new framework. The new AAT QCF qualification is broken down into three levels:

Old AAT Modules & Structure

Kaplan will continue to run the old AAT qualification for Diploma and NVQ students wishing to complete an existing level until December 2010. The old AAT qualification could be achieved by two study streams NVQ and Diploma.

NVQ

The NVQ is a work based qualification and in order to achieve it you should be working in an accounts or finance related job role.

The NVQ pathway is broken down into three levels:

Diploma

The Diploma qualification is a theory based qualification and can be achieved by non accounts related employees and anyone currently not in employment.
