Additional Terms for students on Full Time courses

  1. If you do not require a visa you may, having paid your fees in full, defer enrolment for one relevant sitting, provided you provide us with written notice at least two weeks prior to the course commencement date. An administration charge of £100 per term will be invoiced by us for such deferrals. No refunds will be made and amounts paid for courses (less any administration charges) will be carried forward accordingly.
  2. If you do not require a visa, you may cancel your application provided you provide us with written notification at least two weeks prior to the course commencement date. A cancellation charge of £150 per paper/module which has not yet commenced (to a maximum of £1000) will be invoiced by us. Any discount applied to your course will be lost and full course fees will be payable for any papers/modules already completed/commenced. Full course fees will be payable if less than two weeks' notice is given and no refund will be made in such circumstances. Refunds are not available for any amounts paid for study materials, where the materials have been supplied to and opened by the student.
  3. Dishonoured cheques will result in a charge by us of £25 to cover administration and bank charges as well as the risk of admission to study being refused. Persistent offenders may be reported to their relevant professional body for unprofessional conduct.
  4. Study materials will be made available on or before the first day of the course.
  5. Full course fees are payable no later than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course.
  6. If course fees are being paid by the UK government or a UK organisation, a representative from the sponsoring body must complete the relevant section of the enrolment form. Overseas sponsorships cannot be accepted.
  7. Fees and other amounts payable are published separately for each term and the most recently published pricing is payable by all students studying at the relevant time unless the relevant amounts were paid in full prior to the publication of the new pricing.
  8. We reserve the right to terminate your studies where you fail to comply with the Student Charter found at Annex 4 or the Attendance Policy found at Annex 5.

  9. International students on Tier 4 visa

  10. If you require a Tier 4 visa, you must enrol on and attend a minimum of three subjects (or two subjects in the case of ICAEW qualifications) each term to meet the visa requirements.
  11. If you require a Confirmation of Acceptance of Study ("CAS") number to study with us, you will be charged an administration fee of £25 (inclusive of VAT) for each CAS number issued by us. In certain cases this will be included in the total price of the course. If you are studying for professional courses (FIA; ACCA) and purchase four or fewer subjects, you will be charged this fee separately. This fee is non-refundable in all circumstances.
  12. No refunds, course deferrals or cancellations are permissible other than in the instance of visa refusal (see paragraph 12 below) or as otherwise set out in these terms and conditions once a CAS number has been issued by us confirming full time status.
  13. If your visa application has been refused, the amounts paid to us will be refunded, less an administration charge of £150 (plus any deferral charges and CAS fees detailed in paragraph 10) on production of the following documents where applicable: (1) a certified copy of the visa refusal letter (GV51), (2) a certified copy of your passport showing both a photograph and signature; (3) if you were not paying the fees, an original letter from you authorising the repayment to the payor; and (4) if you were already in the UK, evidence satisfactory to us that you have left the UK or have the legal status to remain in the UK.
  14. Refunds will only be made under paragraph 12 if requested in writing with the necessary supporting documents within four weeks after the published commencement date of the Course. In circumstances where an application is refused by UKVI on the grounds of fraudulent documentation or other irregularities, no refunds will be granted in respect of monies paid.
  15. We reserve the right to inform the appropriate authorities (including UKVI) where we have terminated your studies in accordance with these terms and conditions or where you are failing, in our opinion, to meet ongoing attendance requirements or to make satisfactory academic progress or where you have breached these terms and conditions, the Student Code of Conduct, the Student Charter, the Attendance Policy or your visa requirements.
  16. If you are currently on a Tier 4 visa and mid-way through your Course and wish to discontinue your studies you can do so provided that written notification is received by us at least two weeks prior to the Start Date of the next semester. A cancellation charge of £150 per paper/module which has not yet commenced (to a maximum of £1000) will be invoiced by us. Any discount applied to your course will be lost and full course fees will be payable for any papers/modules already completed/commenced. If a CAS was issued to you as part of your Course then, as per paragraph 10 above, this fee is non-refundable and will be invoiced by us. Refunds are not available for any amounts paid for study materials, where the materials have been supplied to and opened by you. Refunds will only be granted once we have satisfactory evidence that you have left the UK or have the legal status to remain in the UK.
  17. If you wish to extend your visa and obtain a CAS number, you should re-enrol as necessary and pay full course fees on re-enrolment. You should also have met our attendance requirements and all other visa and UKVI requirements and have, in our opinion, made satisfactory academic progress.
  18. We offer paper packages which denote the number of courses, for example 14 papers equates to 14 courses whether these are taken as first sits or resits. If you fail a paper and take a resit, the resit still counts towards the number of papers. Under UKVI rules, you are only allowed to attempt a paper a maximum of 3 times (ie two resits).
