Student of the Sitting

Each sitting, in association with Pure Resourcing Solutions, we award a prize to the individual that has best displayed the qualities required of an accountancy student in the Eastern Region.

The Summer 2011 Ipswich prize was awarded to Jodie Licence of IPRS Ltd. Jodie is a Level 4 AAT student who is described by her tutors as “a bright individual with a friendly, professional nature”. Jodie won an iPod Nano.

All students enrolling on tuition and / or revision courses at the Ipswich centre are automatically entered into the competition. The prize is awarded to the student chosen as most enthusiastic and hardworking. For more details please contact Caron Betts on 01603 617638.

Prizewinner ACCA December 2010 Sitting

Congratulations to Alison Ryder of Ensors who won the ACCA F7 Financial Reporting Global prize for achieving the top score in this paper at the December 2010 sitting. Alison studied at the Ipswich centre with our subject specialist tutor Anna Barnes.

Prizewinner ACCA June 2010 Sitting

Congratulations to Lucy Maynard of Larking Gowen, Colchester office who achieved the highest worldwide mark in the ACCA F8 Audit and Assurance paper. Lucy studied at the Kaplan Financial Ipswich centre and readily admits that she did lots of work resulting in a score of 93%. As a result of her endeavour she received a certificate of merit and a cash prize. Paula McGrath, the F8 tutor, confirms that Lucy was an excellent student and her prize was much deserved.
