Shuang is currently working towards her remaining Skills module papers with Kaplan. She explained:
"The course design, including the tuition, revision and QBD and also the online tests and material are very helpful to my study. I enjoy the interaction of classroom study, and the tutors are approachable, professional and very knowledgeable in their fields.
"The revision and QBD reinforce what you have learnt in tuition but is more exam-focused and highlights areas to target whilst studying. I really enjoy my study at Kaplan so far and will recommend it to my friends."

Rebecca Paterson - 1st in the World prize winner (ACCA P6, December 2008)

Rebecca qualified after completing her final exams at the December 2008 sitting, finishing with a flourish - jointly winning the Advanced Taxation 1st in the world prize, with another student from Kaplan Reading.
“The support from Kaplan was really good. My tutors were outstanding and really encouraging. They also made themselves available, which was very useful when I had questions the day before the exam!
“The customer service team were all really helpful. I broke my right hand and lost three weeks’ revision time but they were really sympathetic and helped with rearranging my revision courses and QB days.
“The materials are all good. I particularly liked the pocket notes and exam kits. On the whole the feedback given with the progress tests was really useful and constructive.”
Yizhe Wang - ACCA 1st in world prize winner
Kaplan Financial student Yizhe Wang, achieved first place in the world in the June 2008 ACCA F4 Corporate and Business Law examination. His exam result of 95% topped those reached by the other 20,571 students sitting the paper worldwide.
Yizhe, a Chinese student who moved to the UK 7 years ago, has studied full-time at our Birmingham centre since 2007, passing all his exams first time. He hopes to gain experience working at a UK accountancy firm before returning to China as a managing director or chief financial officer in a multinational organisation.
After discovering just a week prior to the exam that he had inadvertently entered for the global variant instead of the English variant exam, Yizhe contacted his law tutor at Kaplan Financial, Brian Benton. During special tutoring sessions Brian explained the key differences between the two law variants, allowing Yizhe to proceed with his exam.
Yizhe said:
“Brian encouraged me when I thought about giving up. He is a very professional and knowledgeable tutor.”
