Kaplan Bristol ACA students scoop to prizes
The ICAEW held a ceremony towards the end of May to recognise the achievements of those students who won prizes in recent ACA exam sittings and Kaplan was invited to join in and share their success. Laura Nyogeri and Michael Blackburn, both students at Kaplan Bristol achieved the top marks in the world for Business Strategy and Advanced Case Study respectively, an amazing achievement and testament to that hard work that both have put in. Several tutors had been specifically named by students as people they would like to thank and as both students were taught by David Royston an experienced, senior tutor in Bristol, David was also invited to attend the ceremony.
Well done to both Laura and Michael on the successes!

Kaplan offers funded vocational training courses
Kaplan Bristol (or other Kaplan centres) is now able to offer fully-funded training for practical, business-oriented qualifications, helping individuals develop their professional skills and improve best practice in the workplace. The training, which usually lasts between six and nine months, is open to anyone already employed in a role related to one of the qualifications. These areas include Management, Business Administration, Customer Services and Team Leadership.
As the training is supported by government funding, there is no cost involved for those wishing to join the scheme.
Kaplan has carefully tailored each qualification to ensure the competencies assessed are relevant to the demands of the learner’s role. Staff visit participants in their workplace to support them throughout the training.
Assessment is all based on practical work and the ability to demonstrate existing competencies, supported by work-based evidence and testimony from superiors.
